Your new role

You will provide high-level programme and project management advice and support to the executive management team. You will provide the lead focus for the development and delivery of identified programmes and corporate projects.

MAIN OBJECTIVES
1. Strategy - to advise and assist the executive team in the identification and development of a range of high-level, identified programmes and corporate projects.
2. Governance – To participate in the development and implementation of sound governance structures.
3. Relationships – To establish and maintain effective working relationships in relation to identified programmes and corporate
4. Delivery Programme and Performance – to establish a programme of reviews, corporate projects and initiatives as agreed by the executive team.
5. Resources –Responsible for planning, monitoring and reviewing the appropriate resources to ensure delivery of programme aims and objectives to agreed timescales, quality and programme budgets, initiating corrective action, where necessary.

What you'll need to succeed

Third level qualification and have at least three years’ management experience in a senior management role
OR
  • Have at least five years’ management experience in a senior management role
  • Hold a project management qualification such as PRINCE2 at Foundation level.
  • Have at least 2 years' practical working experience in the management of a project (or projects) using a formal project management method such as PRINCE2 at practitioner level.
  • Experience report writing.
  • Knowledge of governance, risk management and / or quality assurance.
  • Working experience with Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to work to immovable deadlines.
  • Hold a full current UK driving licence and have access to a car.
