Your new role

As a Senior Process Engineer, you will:
  • Deliver Process Engineering Design within single or multi-discipline engineering, EPCM, or EPC projects.
  • Act as an originator and checker for Process Engineering Deliverables such as Basis of Design, Heat & Mass Balance, PFDs, P&IDs, Process Design Calculations, Equipment Datasheets/Specifications, Philosophies, and Narratives.
  • Ensure the quality of the Process design.
  • Participate and contribute to design reviews such as HAZID/ENVID, HAZOP, LOPA/SIL, Model Reviews, etc.
  • Adapt and deliver process design for a range of project complexities and sizes across the full project lifecycle from concept to commissioning, in both green and brownfield applications.
  • Work independently and lead on small size projects.
  • Coordinate Process engineering activities and deliverables with other disciplines, including Mechanical, Civil and Structural, EC&I, and Automation.
  • Manage and mentor more junior engineers.

What you'll need to succeed

  • 7+ years of experience as a Process Engineer in multi-discipline projects within an Engineering/EPCM/EPC company.
  • Deep knowledge of Process engineering design.
  • Experience in process safety – HAZID, HAZOP, SIL, LOPA, ATEX/DSEAR, and Pressure relief.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Chemical Engineering.
  • Chartered or working towards Chartership.
  • Result-oriented with personal accountability for results and performance against project delivery objectives and UK/European Standards & Regulations.
  • Collaborative with the ability to adapt quickly to different styles and roles, encouraging others to contribute to their full potential.
  • Ability to identify impacts to project delivery objectives and apply change management accordingly.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and generating new ideas for improving performance.
  • Responsibility for ensuring the provision of HSEQ at all times.
