Role Overview
As Management Accountant, you’ll play a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting and insightful analysis to support strategic decision-making. You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders across the business and contribute to the continuous improvement of financial processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly management accounts, including variance analysis and commentary
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes across departments
- Support financial planning and performance reviews
- Maintain and reconcile balance sheet accounts
- Provide financial analysis to support business cases and investment decisions
- Collaborate with operational teams to improve cost control and reporting accuracy
- Assist with year-end processes and liaise with external auditors
- Drive process improvements and automation within the finance function
Candidate Profile
- Part-qualified or fully qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA)
- Previous experience in a management accounting role
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent Excel skills: experience with financial systems (e.g. Sage, SAP, Oracle) is a plus
- Confident communicator with the ability to influence non-finance stakeholders
- Proactive, adaptable, and able to work independently in a hybrid environment
