Role Overview

As Management Accountant, you’ll play a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting and insightful analysis to support strategic decision-making. You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders across the business and contribute to the continuous improvement of financial processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare monthly management accounts, including variance analysis and commentary
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes across departments
  • Support financial planning and performance reviews
  • Maintain and reconcile balance sheet accounts
  • Provide financial analysis to support business cases and investment decisions
  • Collaborate with operational teams to improve cost control and reporting accuracy
  • Assist with year-end processes and liaise with external auditors
  • Drive process improvements and automation within the finance function

Candidate Profile

  • Part-qualified or fully qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA)
  • Previous experience in a management accounting role
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent Excel skills: experience with financial systems (e.g. Sage, SAP, Oracle) is a plus
  • Confident communicator with the ability to influence non-finance stakeholders
  • Proactive, adaptable, and able to work independently in a hybrid environment
