Temporary Management Accountant role starting Jan 2025 until Nov 2025

Your new company
Hays Accountancy & Finance are partnering with a leading NHS related organisation based in Norwich who are looking for a Management Accountant for a contract role until November 2025. This would ideally suit an AAT qualified or part-qualified CIMA Management Accountant or an individual who is qualified by experience in producing detailed management accounts and able to present to senior managers.

Your new role
In this temporary management account job, you will be part of the team in preparing the monthly management accounts for your specific service and working closely with the wider finance team regarding investigating any variances etc. As an experienced management accountant, you will collate all the financial data at month-end, including journals, prepayments, accruals and extended trial balance to produce the monthly reports, which you will present to the budget holders.

You will also assist with budgeting and forecasting with the Head of Finance and other departmental heads of this complex NHS-related organisation.

What you'll need to succeed
As explained, you will be at least an AAT qualified or part-qualified CIMA Management Accountant or an individual who is qualified by experience and able to commit to a contract role until November 2025. It is expected you will have proven experience in collating all the financial data at month-end, including journals, prepayments, accruals and extended trial balance to produce the monthly reports and have the confidence to present them to the budget holders.

What you'll get in return
This is a contract role starting from January 2025 until November 2025 and, depending on your experience, will pay circa £37,000 - £44,000.
