Your new role
- Planning and carrying out audit fieldwork, statutory reporting and completion work, along with general accounting compliance work
- Leading smaller / medium audit engagements, which will include planning executing, directing, and completing financial audits within the allocated time
- Developing audit programmes and testing procedures relevant to risk and test objectives
- Preparing financial statements, ensuring they are compliant with relevant accounting standards
- Regular travel and time working at client’s premises; a willingness to travel and access to a car is essential
- The need to multitask and complete assignments within time constraints and deadlines set
- Dealing with clients at various levels
- Preparing accounts from incomplete records
What you'll need to succeed
- Prior experience working in Audit
What you'll get in return
- Up to £33,000
- Annual holiday of 25 days together with 8 days of bank holidays, plus office closure over Christmas (either 3 or 4 days depending on how Christmas falls)
- Further increases in annual leave after the completion of five, ten, and fifteen years service with the company – up to a maximum of 31 days per annum
- Day off for birthday.
