They are looking at bringing on an interim accountant to support an acquisition.
Your new role
You will be joining a team of 9 based in London, reporting directly to the UK CFO. You will be supporting the business following a large merger and be responsible for harmonising the finance for the two businesses on an interim basis.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be a fully qualified accountant, ideally ACA, with a strong academic background. You must have experience working within asset management or wider financial services and have strong experience with cost reporting.

Your new role

- Support the preparation of month end cost reporting for the UK including detailed sub-divisional variance to budget analysis.
- Support the preparation of reporting to support the Group Management Reporting process.
- To provide additional reporting as required, on all aspects of revenues, costs and accruals.
- Undertake cost studies as required to enable key stakeholders to consider all options in cost efficiencies.
- Answering ad hoc queries as they arise, in particular additional details and analysis sought from Budget Holders and the Group Management Reporting Team.
- Support for administration of Oracle including the general ledger accounts master data, cost centre standard hierarchies, security changes, profile changes, upgrades and changes to the Oracle system.
