A growing telecommunications organisation is recruiting a Senior Finance Business Partner.

A fantastic opportunity has become available for a Senior Finance Business Partner in the West Hull area.

Due to strong growth and internal promotions, this new role has been created to support the finance team.

The overall package includes a strong salary, annual bonus, car allowance, hybrid working as well as other benefits.

The ideal candidate will be fully qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) within a practice environment before moving to the industry sector. You will have worked within a private equity organisation and ideally have sector experience within telecoms, construction or utilities.

Your main responsibilities include:

  • Partner with senior leaders across build, commercial, and operations teams to support strategic and financial decision-making.
  • Provide detailed financial analysis and modelling to assess ROI, CLV, and customer profitability.
  • Identify trends, risks, and opportunities, and provide actionable recommendations to senior management.
  • Produce variance analysis and commentary that is clear, concise, and of sufficient quality to be presented to the Executive team for review.

  • Support pricing strategy decisions with robust financial evaluation and scenario modelling.
  • Produce high-quality management information and dashboards for operational and executive teams.
  • Contribute to board reporting and strategic planning processes.
  • Act as a catalyst in driving forward initiatives critical to delivering the strategy (e.g. cost optimisation)
  • Lead on budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning across key business areas.
  • Review and develop options / alternatives to improve business performance and bridge gaps between current and desired financial performance.
  • Develop relationships with members of the wider Commercial Finance function (to support Group FP&A processes) and with the Financial Control function to derive accurate, timely reporting.
  • Other ad hoc projects as directed by the Finance Director.
