Our client, a leading reputable manufacturing business has a new job opportunity for a qualified accountant to join them as Head of Financial Performance Management
Your new role
It should help with the identification of areas of improvement and work with the senior leaders of the business developing strategies to improve the overall financial performance.
What you'll need to succeed
A fully qualified accountant with experience in a similar finance business partnering / FP&A role ideally in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven staff management experience and strong leadership and influencing skills
- The ability to adhere to deadlines and adopt a challenging approach to deliver robust, accurate financial data and information to meet business needs.
- Experience in the analysis of complex financial information using financial modelling tools.
- Sound judgement and ability to make evidence-based recommendations.
- The ability to cut through ambiguity to provide insight.
- The ability to develop alternative scenarios for financial/commercial issues.
- Demonstrable knowledge and use of an ERP
- Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and transfer it into meaningful financial information for use in business decision-making is required.
- Confident, self-motivated, and resilient, able to proactively identify issues and drive delivery of solutions.
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong collaboration and business partnering skills, especially in cross-functional contexts.
