Our client is a leading top-tier contractor, and we are supporting their search for a Senior Estimator to work on Commercial Projects in London (Cut & Carve/New build) circa £100M and also national MoD/Defence projects.
You should have experience at a top tier contractor working on similar/relevant projects over £50M+.
As Senior Estimator, you will take ownership of the full financial and cost planning process for major tenders, ensuring the delivery of robust, competitive and strategically aligned submissions.

You will:
• Develop tender information into fully formed, accurate, and competitive cost submissions.
• Prepare detailed cost plans and lead cost planning exercises from concept to completion.
• Produce all financial documentation required for executive level reviews.
• Undertake cost monitoring activities on live projects when required and support framework/target cost schemes.
• Ensure all financial data is accurate, compliant, and prepared using the company’s estimating systems.
• Work closely with project directors, planners, design managers, operations teams and other senior stakeholders.
• Engage with external clients, consultants, joint venture partners, and supply chain colleagues.
• Support procurement with subcontractor selection and price improvement opportunities.
• Lead or contribute to risk and opportunity analysis, producing fully costed R&O schedules.
• Provide cost input into value engineering, alternative methods, temporary works and programme options.
• Capture and apply lessons learnt through regular feedback from live projects.

You will have:
• A relevant Degree or equivalent,
• Experience A strong track record delivering tenders on projects over £50M including London Cut & Carve, Commercial and/or national MoD.
• Strong capability in cost planning, estimating systems, commercial reporting and tender governance.
