Senior Electrical Building Service Engineer - Manchester

Your new company

Your new company is a UK-wide multidisciplinary company which has offices based in London, Manchester and Glasgow with 200 staff across all three regions.

Their Manchester office is located in a bustling part of Manchester's city centre, close to public transport hubs and car parks. The office is open planned, modern and spacious with a boardroom, kitchen and reception area.

The company is currently working on multiple schemes including: Eden - New Bailey/ Well Street - Trinity Bay, which will be the biggest green wall in Europe/ Water lane in Leeds - 200 bed 5* hotel/ New office designs across the UK/ 47 storey residential developments/ Student accommodation in Liverpool/ Student accommodation in Leeds/ Labs in Cambridge/ Vertical farming facilities.


Your new role

Your new role will see you working as a senior engineer on the multiple schemes mentioned above using your design software experience, mentoring junior staff with their designs and adding your input on meetings regarding wider schemes.
You will be using RELux, DIALux, AMtech, and other lighting design software to complete your designs and given the freedom to achieve your daily tasks without micromanagement.


What you'll need to succeed

To succeed in this role you will have a minimum of 4 years' UK experience, a degree in Electrical Engineering or Building Services and have a solid knowledge of design software and experience working in the above-mentioned sectors.
