Your new role
- - Leading electrical design elements on selected projects
- - Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
- - Attending client meetings and presenting technical solutions
- - Mentoring and supporting junior engineers
- - Ensuring compliance with technical standards and regulations
- - Producing detailed design calculations, specifications, and drawings
- - Supporting the integration of sustainable and low-carbon technologies
- - Engaging in all project stages from feasibility to handover
What you'll need to succeed
- - A degree in Electrical or Building Services Engineering (or equivalent); HNC/HND with substantial experience will also be considered
- - Chartered status or working towards professional accreditation
- - At least 3–4 years’ experience in building services design
- - Proficiency in design software such as Revit, Amtech, Relux/DIALux, and Microsoft Office
- - Strong knowledge of UK Building Regulations, British Standards, and CIBSE guidelines
- - Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
- - Understanding of HV/LV systems and embedded generation
- - Familiarity with renewable technologies and sustainable design principles
- - Experience with BREEAM and HTM standards is advantageous
- - An appreciation of mechanical engineering to contribute across disciplines
