Your new role
As an Electrical Engineer, you will contribute to the design and delivery of building services projects, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to provide high-quality electrical engineering solutions. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting in the design of electrical systems from concept through to completion
- Producing design calculations, specifications, and technical drawings
- Supporting senior engineers with site surveys and construction stage duties
- Collaborating with clients, architects, and other engineering disciplines
- Ensuring designs comply with current regulations and sustainability standards
- Participating in project meetings and contributing to technical discussions
- Developing your skills with support from senior engineers and mentors
What you'll need to succeed
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a related discipline
- Experience working on building services projects within a consultancy or contractor environment
- Familiarity with relevant design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Dialux, Relux, and Amtech
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A proactive approach to learning and problem-solving
- Full UK driving licence (preferred)
