Your new role

As a Senior Design Engineer, you will manage design projects from concept to completion, working directly with customers to develop bespoke solutions tailored to their needs. Your role will involve analysing current design processes and procedures, implementing improvements, and developing work instructions and operating procedures to support production processes. You will investigate engineering problems, implement solutions and corrective actions, and foster a culture of continuous improvement by identifying potential enhancements in design, processes, and manufacturing techniques. Ensuring all designs adhere to VCA standards and managing BOMs and PDMs will also be key responsibilities.

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this role, you will need a third-level qualification in an engineering-related discipline and at least five years of experience in a design engineering role. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, excellent organisational and project management abilities, and robust analytical and problem-solving skills are essential.
