Data Analyst
Location: Banbridge (Head Office)
Hours: Monday–Thursday 8am–5pm | Friday 8am–3pm

The Opportunity
This role sits within a growing Data Analytics function that is becoming increasingly central to business performance and decision-making.
Reporting to the Senior Data Analyst, you will play a key role in turning data into actionable insight, supporting both operational and strategic objectives. This is a high-visibility position, offering the opportunity to work closely with stakeholders across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean, transform, and prepare data using Excel, Power Query, Power BI, and relevant tools
- Integrate multiple data sources to ensure accurate and consistent reporting
- Analyse data to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities
- Develop, maintain, and enhance interactive dashboards and visualisations in Power BI
- Partner with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and deliver effective solutions
- Support senior management with data-driven insights to inform decision-making
- Conduct statistical analysis to support business initiatives
- Lead knowledge-sharing sessions on reporting tools and outputs
- Support ad hoc data requests and continuous improvement initiatives
- Contribute to data governance, documentation, and reporting standards
Skills and Experience Required
- 1–2 years’ experience in a Data Analyst or Business Intelligence role
- Strong Power BI capability, including DAX and data modelling
- Advanced Excel skills (including pivot tables and complex formulas)
- Experience with Power Automate and workflow automation concepts
- Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms (e.g. SharePoint)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability with high attention to detail
- Confident communication skills with the ability to present to non-technical audiences
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work both independently and collaboratively
- Fluent in written and spoken English
Desirable Experience
- Degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Business, or a related field
- Strong SQL knowledge with hands-on experience in querying and data modelling
- Experience within construction, engineering, or related technical environments
