This is a great opportunity to join this iconic business from their Carmarthen-based site. If you are a dynamic and driven credit professional with a proven track record of credit control, this role could be for you. 100% office based but in an out-of-town location with plenty of parking and amenities on site. The business operates nationally, and you will be liaising with sites across the UK to ensure that you and your colleagues are complying with best practice and keeping up to date with credit terms.

It's high-volume, and you will need to operate at pace; your duties will include the following;

• Managing the collection of sales ledger invoices
• Forming partnerships with internal teams to manage their debts
• Dealing with queries from customers relating to invoices and payments
• Ensure sales ledgers are clear at month end, and ready for closure of period.
• Preparing debt reports, analysing data and presenting monthly sales ledger debt figure
• Negotiating with students / customers on a one-to-one basis to arrange individual instalment plans
• Approving credit notes and authorising refunds to customers.

In order to be suitable for this role, you will need ROBUST exposure to Credit Management in the private sector; this is a fast-paced role, but there is plenty of space to develop your skills on the job..... those skills need to be fairly advanced though; I am looking for at least 24 months in a credit control role. Experience of working within manufacturing would be desirable but not essential. However, you will need to be VERY commercial!
