Job Purpose:
As our Drainage and L8 Engineer, you will be at the forefront of maintaining and repairing a variety of commercial plumbing and drainage installations. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Conducting pipework inspections and repairs, including associated equipment like pumps, expansion vessels, PRVs, and TMVs.
  • Performing drainage and sanitation inspections, repairs, and replacements.
  • Ensuring hygiene maintenance and inspections are up to SFG20 or relevant ACoP standards.
  • Delivering top-notch service to clients, addressing their queries, reporting defects, and keeping them informed during service visits.
  • Accurately completing all work-related documentation and maintaining logs of inspection reports and remedial work.
Requirements/Expectations:
To excel in this role, you should have:
  • Experience in a Maintenance/FM environment.
  • Relevant qualifications (e.g., C&G Level 3, NVQ Level 3, or equivalent technical diploma).
  • Expertise in drainage systems and problem-solving.
  • Knowledge of Health & Safety, Permit to work procedures, and safe working systems.
  • The ability to undertake various tasks as requested by management, even those outside your core skill set.
  • Capability to perform manual tasks, including manual handling, working at heights, and in confined spaces.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including proficiency with mobile devices.
  • A high level of self-motivation, a solutions-focused mindset, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • A full driving licence.
