Hays recruitment are currently recruiting for a assistant buyer for our client based in the East Kent Region. This is a full-time permanent position starting asap.

Monday to Friday

£27,000 - £30,000

Duties
- Assist in sourcing and purchasing.
- Negotiate with suppliers.
- Maintain and develop relationships with key clients.
- Coordinate logistics for incoming goods.
- Liaise with warehouse management / staff.
- Identify new products and categories.

Experience / Skills
- Minimum 1 year buying experience
- IT literate
- Strong negotiation
- Communication skills

Fresh produce experience would be ideal.
