Construction Buyer Required
We are seeking an experienced Construction Buyer to manage the procurement of materials, plant, and subcontractor services. You’ll play a key role in ensuring our projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
️ Key Responsibilities:
- Source and procure materials and services in line with project requirements
- Negotiate prices, terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers and subcontractors
- Build and maintain strong supplier relationships
- Monitor market trends and identify cost-saving opportunities
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures
- Work closely with project managers, site teams, and estimators
✅ Requirements:
- Proven experience as a buyer in the construction industry
- Strong knowledge of building materials and supply chains
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and procurement software
- Full UK driving licence (preferred)
