Your new role

• Assist in the development of equipment specifications and the subsequent evaluation and selection of equipment
• Be involved in the development of equipment solutions and layouts
• Work with the project workstream to identify risks relating to equipment
• Identify equipment transfer potential
• Work in collaboration with departments/services together with removals and disposals partners to organise Department level support in relation to equipment removals and transfers
• Carry out research and development work to support the effective discharge of responsibilities
• Serve as a central contact point for equipment maintenance and repair (excepting medical devices).

What you'll need to succeed

• Good level of educational attainment to degree level or equivalent experience
• CIPS level 4 qualification or equivalent procurement experience
• Evidence of ongoing continuous professional development
• Experience of equipment sourcing
• Desired, is someone who has previous procurement, healthcare experience
• IT skills and experience to support project management – Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word etc.
• Problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Strong prioritisation skills to manage competing and unpredictable demands on time, whilst ensuring ongoing tasks are completed to deadline.
