FF & E Procurement Agent | Furniture, interiors, fit-out, manufacturing

Your new company

Our client is a growing specialist business operating within the furniture, interiors and manufacturing sector. Working on bespoke commercial and hospitality projects, they partner with designers and suppliers across the globe to deliver high-quality furniture, fixtures and equipment solutions. Due to continued growth, they are now seeking an FF & E Procurement Agent to join their team.

Your new role

As FF & E Procurement Agent, you will take ownership of the procurement function, managing supplier relationships, obtaining competitive quotations, negotiating pricing and monitoring production schedules. Working closely with senior leadership, you will source new suppliers, oversee quality standards and coordinate projects from initial concept through to delivery. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing supplier relationships and developing new sourcing opportunities
  • Issuing RFQs, evaluating quotations and negotiating pricing
  • Monitoring supplier performance, quality standards and lead times
  • Coordinating production schedules and project delivery timelines
  • Managing procurement documentation and tracking project costs
  • Supporting quality inspections and supplier audits
  • Working closely with project, design and installation teams
  • Travelling internationally on occasion to visit manufacturing partners and suppliers

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this role, you will have previous procurement, purchasing or buying experience and enjoy working in a fast-paced, project-driven environment. You will ideally possess:
  • Experience in procurement, purchasing, sourcing or supply chain
  • Experience within furniture, manufacturing, joinery, fit-out, interiors or a related environment
  • Strong supplier management and negotiation skills
  • Commercial awareness with the ability to identify cost-saving opportunities
  • Excellent organisational and project coordination skills
  • Experience managing multiple suppliers and deadlines simultaneously
  • Confidence working autonomously and taking ownership of projects
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • Good Excel and general systems knowledge
  • A proactive approach with a desire to drive improvements and introduce new ideas
Candidates from Buyer, Senior Buyer, Procurement Specialist, Procurement Coordinator, Purchasing Officer, Supply Chain Coordinator or similar backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
