Continued growth has created an opportunity for an experienced Senior Audit Manager to join the leadership team.
Your new role
As Senior Audit Manager, you will play a key role in leading and growing the audit offering in Manchester. You will manage a significant client portfolio, oversee high‑quality audit delivery, and support the development of managers and junior staff.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading and reviewing statutory audits for a varied portfolio of clients
- Managing client relationships and acting as a trusted adviser
- Planning, budgeting and monitoring assignments to ensure timely delivery
- Coaching, mentoring and developing audit managers and wider team members
- Supporting partners with business development and proposals
- Ensuring compliance with UK GAAP, IFRS and regulatory standards
What you'll need to succeed
- ACA or ACCA qualified (or equivalent)
- Significant UK audit experience within a Top 10 or strong mid-tier firm
- Proven ability to manage complex audits and client relationships
- Experience leading and developing high-performing teams
- Strong technical knowledge and commercial awareness
