Your new firm
Our leading national client is seeking experienced Regulatory lawyers to join their highly regarded Healthcare Regulatory team in their Bristol or Birmingham office. This UK-Top 100 commercial law firm provides a comprehensive range of legal services including advice and support to health, social care, education and housing organisations across the public and independent sectors. The role will involve advising clients on a range of health, social care and education issues, both contentious and non-contentious.
Your new role
There will be a particular focus on supporting clients in the lead up to and during inquest proceedings and there will be opportunities to be involved in other work-types as well (such as Court of Protection, regulatory or children's law). As this is a more senior role, you will have the opportunity to assist with the wider management and supervision of the team, which spans across multiple offices.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage your own varied caseload of both advisory and litigation matters
- Advocacy at inquests, Court of Protection hearings and Tribunals
- Active involvement in client care and business development
- Assist with the wider management and supervision of the team
What you’ll need to succeed
You will be an established Regulatory lawyer (circa 6+PQE) with experience of working for a leading national or regional firm with a keen interest in developing your career in Health, Social Care or Education Law. You will be someone with technical excellence and a lateral thinker. Experience of dealing with public law disputes and broader regulatory & compliance interest is desirable. As this role will be working within a larger team, you will be someone who is a great team player with the ability to create strong working partnerships.
What you’ll get in return
This is a fantastic career opportunity for an experienced litigator to join a collaborative team with plenty of opportunity for progression.
With very flexible and hybrid working options available, this is a great opportunity that would suit a full or part-time lawyer.
Please contact Harriet Chapman at Hays Legal for further information on this opportunity.
