The firm is known for its deep expertise in representing public sector bodies, including NHS trusts, local authorities, and insurers, across a wide range of liability claims. What you'll need to succeed
You must be a qualified solicitor with a minimum of 10 years' qualifying experience within defendant insurance litigation. Strong technical expertise in personal injury and property damage claims, particularly multi-track and high-value matters. Excellent communication, drafting, and negotiation skills along with experience supervising junior lawyers and contributing to team development.

Your new role
This Defendant Insurance Senior Associate/Legal Director job will see you:
- Independently manage a caseload of complex, high-value multi-track personal injury and property damage claims.
- Provide strategic advice and litigation support to clients across the private and public sectors, including local authorities and charities.
- Acti as a trusted advisor to key clients, delivering high-quality legal services aligned with their commercial and reputational priorities.
- Support client relationship development and contribute to client-facing initiatives.
- Collaborate on multidisciplinary projects and contribute to knowledge sharing across the team.
- Provide day-to-day supervision, mentoring, and support to junior lawyers and paralegals.
- Delegate tasks effectively and contribute to the development of junior team members.
