Our client is a highly-regarded defendant firm with offices across the UK. They are currently recruiting for an associate or senior associate to join their defendant EL/PL team in Manchester on a hybrid basis. A competitive salary is available and negotiable dependent on experience.

This Defendant EL/PL Associate/Senior Associate position will see you:
What you'll need to succeed
You must be a qualified solicitor or chartered legal executive with a minimum of 4 years PQE. Applicants must have qualified experience handling their own caseload of defendant
EL/PL claims. Defendant multi-track personal injury experience is beneficial. Experience of occupational health and/or disease work is beneficial.

Your new role
This Defendant EL/PL Associate/Senior Associate position will see you:
- Handle your own mixed multi-track caseload of defendant EL/PL, occupational health and disease files valued from £100,000 to £500,000.
- Assist senior team members on higher-value, complex cases.
- Conduct liability investigations, gather evidence, review medical evidence and prepare instructions.
- Draft court documents and attend court hearings.
What you'll need to succeed
