Your new company

The business is a well-established UK organisation operating within an asset‑intensive environment, structured across a small group of interrelated entities. It combines a stable core operation with a larger UK trading business and associated property and holding companies, creating a financial landscape that is interesting, varied, and commercially focused. With an emphasis on collaboration, continuous improvement, and recent investment in systems and processes, it is an organisation we are genuinely excited to be working with as they continue to strengthen their finance capability and support future growth.

Your new role

We’re recruiting a hands‑on Senior Accountant to join a growing, asset‑intensive UK business at an exciting point of development. This is a broad, high‑visibility role working directly with the Managing Director, with significant exposure to group finance and senior stakeholders.
Following a recent ERP implementation, the successful candidate will act as the Nominal Ledger super user, helping the business embed best practice and maximise value from the system.
This role offers genuine scope, autonomy, and progression for an accountant who enjoys ownership, complexity, and working close to decision‑makers. This is a high-profile role offering the opportunity to work closely with the Managing Director and Group Finance, providing strong visibility and influence across the business. With a newly implemented ERP system in place, the role gives real scope to shape, improve, and embed finance processes. It offers a broad and varied remit with genuine ownership, making it ideal for someone who enjoys being hands‑on while contributing strategically. The position also provides the chance to develop leadership capability and build experience within a growing group structure, with excellent exposure to senior stakeholders and complex financial activity.
