Your new role
As Senior Accountant, you will play a key role in ensuring the integrity and accuracy of financial reporting while supporting business performance through insightful analysis.
Responsibilities will include:

- Preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in line with IFRS/GAAP
- Supporting statutory accounts production and ensuring regulatory compliance
- Managing the general ledger, including balance sheet reconciliations and resolving discrepancies
- Delivering a timely and accurate month-end close process (journals, accruals, prepayments)
- Supporting internal and external audits, ensuring queries are resolved effectively
- Preparing VAT returns and supporting broader tax compliance requirements
- Monitoring cash flow and supporting forecasting activities
- Maintaining the fixed asset register, ensuring accurate depreciation and reporting
- Strengthening financial controls and driving continuous process improvements
- Providing variance analysis and financial insight to support business decision-making
This role offers strong exposure across finance, allowing you to contribute strategically while maintaining hands-on technical responsibility.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with strong technical and analytical capabilities. You will also demonstrate:
- Proven experience in financial reporting, statutory accounts and audit support
- Strong knowledge of IFRS or GAAP
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with accounting systems
- Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly
- A proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and ownership
