About the Role:
We are looking for a committed and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive primary school in Sefton, working within their dedicated SEN base. This role involves supporting pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs, helping them access learning and develop essential skills in a nurturing environment.

This role involves supporting pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs, helping them access learning and develop essential skills in a nurturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide tailored support to pupils within the SEN base, adapting strategies to meet individual needs.
- Assist with implementing Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).
- Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCO, and other support staff.
- Promote positive behaviour and inclusion.
Requirements:
- Experience: Previous experience working with children with SEN is essential.
- Qualifications: Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant or SEN-specific training) are desirable.
- Strong communication skills and a patient, empathetic approach.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
