SEN Teaching Assistant – Northampton

Are you passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? We’re seeking dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants to join inclusive, welcoming schools across the Northampton area. Key Responsibilities

• Provide one‑to‑one and small‑group support for pupils with a range of SEN needs, including autism, ADHD, and speech & language difficulties.
• Work collaboratively with class teachers and SENCOs to deliver Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
• Create a safe, structured, and engaging learning environment.
• Support pupils' communication, sensory, and emotional development.
• Assist with classroom organisation and contribute to inclusive learning activities.

What We’re Looking For

• A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Previous experience supporting children with SEN, autism, or learning difficulties is highly desirable.
• Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is an advantage but not essential.
