Teaching Assistant jobs, Liverpool area, competitive daily rate

Your new company

As we head towards Christmas, we are now starting to look towards January jobs. These roles are on a temporary and long-term basis, with the potential for these roles to be permanent for the right candidate. These schools are mainstream schools and they do have some SEN needs within their classes. This is across both KS1 and KS2. These schools are looking for someone to provide general support in the classroom, as well as being supported by a dedicated team of staff and the class teacher.

Your new role

You will be responsible for providing support and assistance to different classroom teachers with the delivery of curriculum, as well as supporting the pupils in both group and 1:1 settings across the KS1 and KS2 year groups. You will be required to hold interventions for maths, reading, writing and phonics, so it would be beneficial if you have experience with these. Some of these schools will include SEN pupils, so any experience here would be beneficial. We will always strive to meet your requirements and assign you to the particular year group of your choice. However, you may be expected to move round within the school, so being flexible would be a key skill.

What you'll need to succeed

In order to be successful in securing this position, you must have recent experience working with children, ideally in an educational setting. As the schools are recruiting immediately, it would be ideal if you could jump straight into the role. However, do not let this put you off applying, as we are always receiving new roles. SEN experience would also be desirable in this role, but it is not essential as it will depend on the school you are placed in.

To be successful with your application you must have full "Right to Work" in the UK as well as referenceable experience supporting children and young people.

What you'll get in return

In return, you will be paid a highly competitive daily rate and will be working in this successful school where you will become an integral part of a welcoming team of TA's. You will therefore have the opportunity to further develop your own teaching assistant skills and experience.
A dedicated consultant will always be on hand should you have any questions or concerns.

Other benefits include:
Free training
  • Refer a Friend scheme
  • Flexible working options
  • Full holiday entitlement
  • Highly competitive daily pay rate
