I’m supporting a wonderful primary school in the LS17 area of Leeds who are looking for an experienced and compassionate Special Needs Teaching Assistant to join their team as soon as possible. This school is known for its warm, community‑focused ethos, strong pastoral care and commitment to making every child feel valued and included.
About the Role
This is a varied and highly rewarding role, ideal for someone who thrives in a nurturing, child‑centred environment:
- Mornings: You will provide 1:1 support for a pupil with additional needs, helping them engage with learning, regulate emotions and build confidence throughout the school day.
- Afternoons: Your role will broaden to supporting as a general TA across the school, assisting with whole‑class learning, small groups and general classroom routines.
