Supply teacher needed in Sefton primary schools

Your new role

We are currently recruiting for both long term and short term supply roles in Sefton .

When working for Hays Education, you will have the opportunity to work in a role that is completely flexible around your needs. During a meeting with your consultant, you will discuss your previous experience, your preferred year group or key stage, and the work pattern that is going to suit you best. If you are looking for 1 or 2 days a week or a Mon-Friday work pattern, we will be able to help you.

  • Be confident in your ability to teach a range of subjects.
  • Able to deliver a lesson according to the plan you have been given
  • Good behaviour management techniques.
  • Be responsible for effective teaching and learning of pupils.
  • Able to adapt to different daily environments.
  • Collect completed work and leave detailed handover to the teacher upon their return.


What you'll need to succeed

In order to be considered for the role, you must:

  • Have teaching experience within the last 5 years.
  • Hold a UK Qualified Teacher Status.
  • Good knowledge of the English National Curriculum.
