Hays Education is seeking passionate and adaptable Secondary Supply Teachers to support schools across Northamptonshire and surrounding areas. Whether you’re an experienced subject specialist or an ECT, this is a brilliant opportunity to teach within your expertise while enjoying the flexibility to choose when and where you work.

What You’ll Do:

• Deliver engaging lessons across KS3 and KS4 (and KS5 if applicable)
• Teach within your specialist subject or cover a range of curriculum areas
• Manage classroom behaviour confidently and maintain a positive learning environment
• Follow school policies and report safeguarding concerns promptly to the DSL
• Provide marking and feedback when required

✅ What We’re Looking For:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), PGCE, or ECT status
• Recent experience teaching secondary pupils within the last 5 years
• Strong knowledge of your specialist subject and the Secondary National Curriculum
• Flexibility to work across different year groups and school settings
• A professional, proactive, and adaptable approach to teaching
