Hays Education is working with a number of primary schools across Margate that are looking to appoint enthusiastic and committed Year 6 Teachers to join their teams.
Whether you're an experienced Upper Key Stage 2 practitioner or an Early Career Teacher ready for your next challenge, we have a range of opportunities available across supportive and welcoming school environments.
The Role
As a Year 6 Teacher, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting pupils through the final year of their primary education. You'll help children develop the confidence, resilience and independence needed for a successful transition to secondary school while ensuring they achieve their full academic potential.
You'll deliver engaging and challenging lessons, support pupils as they prepare for end-of-year assessments and create a positive classroom culture where every learner is encouraged to succeed.
Opportunities are available on both a long-term and flexible supply basis.
We're Looking for Teachers Who:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), or are working towards it
- Have experience teaching within Key Stage 2, ideally Upper KS2
- Can deliver engaging and inspiring lessons that challenge learners
- Have strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- Are committed to maintaining high expectations for all pupils
- Build positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues
- Bring enthusiasm, professionalism and a passion for helping children succeed
