Hays Education are currently seeking enthusiastic and adaptable Supply Teachers to work in a range of welcoming and supportive primary schools across Blackpool.
Due to increased demand from our partnership schools, we are looking for qualified teachers who can provide high-quality classroom cover across EYFS, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. Whether you're seeking flexible work to fit around your lifestyle, returning to teaching, or looking to gain experience in a variety of school settings, we have opportunities to suit your needs.
As a Supply Teacher, you will have the opportunity to work in different schools, build your experience, and make a positive impact on pupils' learning without the additional pressures often associated with permanent class teaching roles.
Your new role
- Deliver engaging and effective lessons across a variety of year groups
- Maintain a positive and productive learning environment
- Follow school policies and lesson plans where provided
- Adapt quickly to new classroom settings and routines
- Manage behaviour effectively and promote positive learning experiences
- Support pupils in achieving their educational goals
What you'll need to succeed
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching within UK primary schools
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- Flexible, reliable, and confident working in different school environments
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- A genuine passion for teaching and supporting young learners
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
