About the Role
Looking to make a difference in the classroom? Hays Education is on the hunt for enthusiastic Cover Supervisors to support secondary schools in Batley. This is your chance to step into the classroom, guide students aged 11–16, and keep learning on track when teachers are absent.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Delivering pre-prepared lessons across a variety of subjects
- Managing groups of 20+ students with confidence and positivity
- Supporting learners aged 11–16 to stay engaged and focused
- ✅ Maintaining a safe and productive environment for all students
✅ What We’re Looking For
- Experience in the last 2 years managing groups of 20+ young people aged 11–16
- Background in a school, sports coaching, or community centre setting
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Flexibility to take on both day-to-day cover and long-term bookings
