Join Our Team as a Cover Supervisor in Batley!

Hays Education is working closely with secondary schools across Batley who are looking for enthusiastic, confident, and reliable Cover Supervisors to support their day‑to‑day staffing needs — with real potential for long‑term roles.
What You’ll Be Doing
As a Cover Supervisor, you’ll step into the classroom when teachers are absent and ensure learning continues smoothly. Your role will include:
- Managing classes of 10+ students aged 11–16
- Delivering pre‑planned work (no planning or marking required!)
- Keeping students engaged, focused, and on track
- Maintaining a positive and productive classroom environment
This is classroom management at its core — perfect for someone who enjoys leading groups and keeping energy high and behaviour positive.
Who We’re Looking For
If you have experience in any of the following within the last two years, we’d love to meet you:
- Working with groups of young people aged 11–16
- Sports coaching
- Youth work or community leadership
- School‑based support roles
If you’re confident, adaptable, and passionate about helping young people succeed, you’ll fit right in.
