Are you passionate about making a difference in young people’s lives? Do you have experience supporting others in care, community, or coaching roles? If so, we want to hear from you!
We’re looking for empathetic, resilient, and adaptable individuals to join our team as Cover Supervisors in secondary schools across Stroud. You don’t need prior classroom experience – just the right attitude and transferable skills.

This role is ideal for those who have worked in people-focused environments such as adult or child social care, youth work, nursing, early years, or support roles involving personal care. You might come from a background in elderly care, special educational needs, mental health support, sports coaching, the police, or even the prison service. If you’ve worked in roles where you’ve supported, guided, or cared for others – whether in a professional or voluntary capacity – your experience is highly valued here.

What you'll do

  • Supervise classes during teacher absences
  • Deliver pre-set lessons and maintain classroom order
  • Support students with their learning and wellbeing
  • Be a positive role model and promote a safe, inclusive environment

What we're looking for

  • Confidence managing groups of young people
  • A calm, patient, and proactive approach
  • A genuine interest in education and youth development
