As a Formulations Scientist, you’ll be involved in the design, development, and optimisation of complex formulations to support therapeutic innovation. Key responsibilities include:
- Designing and developing new formulation strategies.
- Supporting process development and scale-up activities.
- Preparing technical documentation and reports.
- Collaborating with internal teams to meet project goals.
- Maintaining high standards in laboratory research.
What you’ll need to succeed:
- A Ph.D. in a relevant scientific discipline (e.g. Chemistry, Biology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Physics).
- Experience working in a laboratory setting with formulation development.
- Familiarity with analytical and characterisation techniques.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Proficiency in techniques such as SAXS, DSC, NMR, LC-MS, HPLC, DLS, and TEM.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach.
- Industry experience (1–2 years) is advantageous but not essential.
