Are you an experienced Science Technician looking for your next opportunity? We are seeking a dedicated and proactive individual to join a vibrant secondary school in Oldham to support the science department through the end of the term.
About the Role:
As a Science Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of engaging and safe science lessons. Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing and setting up equipment and materials for practical experiments
- Maintaining laboratory equipment and ensuring health and safety standards are met
- Assisting teaching staff during practical sessions
- Managing stock levels and ordering supplies as needed
✅ Requirements:
- Previous experience working as a Science Technician in a school setting is essential.
- Strong knowledge of laboratory safety procedures
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Must be immediately available and able to commit until Christmas
