Your new role
As a Senior Arboricultural Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in leading and managing arboricultural projects from inception to completion. You will provide expert advice to clients, conduct detailed surveys, and produce comprehensive reports in line with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Management: Lead and manage arboricultural projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
  • Fieldwork: Plan and conduct arboricultural surveys, including tree condition assessments, hazard evaluations, and BS5837 surveys.
  • Technical Reporting: Prepare detailed reports such as Arboricultural Impact Assessments, Method Statements, and Woodland Management Plans.
  • Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing expert advice and ensuring their needs are met.
  • Mentorship: Support and mentor junior team members, fostering their professional development and ensuring high standards of work.
  • Compliance: Ensure all work complies with relevant legislation, policies, and industry standards.

What you'll need to succeed
  • Education: A Level 4 or higher qualification in Arboriculture or a related environmental discipline.
  • Experience: Extensive experience in arboricultural consultancy, with a proven track record of managing medium to large-scale projects.
  • Knowledge: In-depth understanding of UK arboricultural legislation, planning policies, and best practices.
  • Skills: Excellent project management, communication, and report-writing skills. Proficiency in using arboricultural software and tools.
