Working in the public sector on a fantastic farm. Working on a research farm which specialises in trials of wheat, barley, oats and grasses.
Your new role
- Ploughing
- Spraying
- Sowing
- Combining the use of Haldrups, fertiliser sowers and Kubota lawn mowers.
Some experience of ploughing, spraying, sowing and combining preferred. PA1 and PA2a highly desirable
Other Desirable Skills
- Experience in operating a range of farm machinery.
- Experience in an agricultural setting with knowledge of crop (such as grass) husbandry.
- Willingness to learn new skills
- Show attention to detail and be capable of adapting
What you'll need to succeed
2 GCSEs including English language and maths (grades A*-C) or equivalent
AND a minimum of 6 demonstrable months' relevant experience.
AND a driving licence
