A New Chapter for the School
The school has recently joined a new multi-academy trust, marking an exciting period of growth and transformation. As part of this journey, they are looking to build a dynamic and committed team to help raise educational standards and achieve ambitious goals for the academic year ahead.

About the Role:
You will be teaching Key Stages 3 and 4, with the opportunity to teach Key Stage 5 depending on experience and interest. The science department is well-resourced, collaborative, and committed to delivering engaging and high-quality lessons.

✅ What We’re Looking For:

  • Strong subject knowledge in Science (Biology, Chemistry, or Physics)
  • A commitment to high standards of teaching and learning
  • Excellent classroom management skills
  • A passion for inspiring young people through science

SEN Experience:
Experience working with students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) is preferred but not essential. The school values inclusivity and has a strong SEN support team in place to assist both students and staff.

About the School:
  • A respected and inclusive secondary school with a strong community ethos
  • Supportive leadership and a focus on staff development
  • Excellent CPD opportunities and career progression
  • Modern science labs and teaching resources
  • Easily accessible from Bridgwater, Exeter, Yeovil, and surrounding areas
  • You will be assigned to one classroom for all your classes, and the school encourages teachers to make the space their own.
