Your New Role:
As a Science Teacher, you will deliver high‑quality lessons across KS3 and KS4, fostering curiosity, resilience, and a love of learning. You will teach your specialist science subject while contributing to the wider department through collaborative planning, curriculum development, and enrichment activities. This is a full‑time, temporary role (five days per week), suitable for both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers who are looking to build strong foundations and receive excellent support.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Planning and delivering engaging, differentiated science lessons
- Tracking and assessing student progress to secure positive outcomes
- Creating a supportive, inclusive learning environment
- Participating in departmental meetings, CPD, and whole‑school initiatives
- Upholding school values, behaviour policies, and safeguarding standards
What You’ll Need to Succeed:
To thrive in this role, you will bring:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or QTLS
- Strong subject knowledge in Science, with the ability to teach at KS3 and KS4
- A commitment to high expectations, both academically and behaviourally
- Excellent communication, organisation, and classroom management skills
- A reflective mindset and willingness to contribute to departmental improvement
- Passion for science education and enthusiasm for creating inspiring learning experiences
