Computer Science Teacher – Secondary School – Preston
Start Date: September 2025
Contract Length: 6 Months minimum
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

Are you a passionate and innovative Computer Science Teacher looking for your next opportunity? Hays Education is working in partnership with a well-regarded secondary school in Preston to recruit a dedicated Computer Science specialist to join their team from September for a 6-month contract.

Your New Role
You will be delivering engaging and challenging Computer Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential to teach Key Stage 5 depending on experience. The school is committed to fostering a love of technology and digital literacy, and you’ll be joining a supportive department with a strong focus on student achievement and curriculum development.

What You’ll Need to Succeed
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Specialism in Computer Science or a related subject
  • Experience teaching in UK secondary schools
  • Strong classroom management skills and a creative approach to teaching
  • A genuine passion for education and student development
