We are working with a number of secondary schools across Coventry and Warwickshire, recruiting Science Teachers for Summer Term cover and September starts. Opportunities are available across Biology, Chemistry and Physics, with roles to suit both short-term and longer-term preferences.
This is an excellent opportunity for confident classroom practitioners who are eager to inspire the next generation of scientists.
The Role
You will be teaching Science across KS3 and KS4, with potential KS5 opportunities depending on experience and specialism.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering engaging and well-structured Science lessons aligned with the national curriculum
- Creating a positive, safe and well-managed classroom environment
- Demonstrating strong behaviour management to support effective learning
- Using subject expertise to inspire curiosity and scientific thinking
- Assessing student progress and adapting teaching accordingly
- Working collaboratively with Science departments and school staff
Requirements
To be considered for these roles, you must have:
- ✅ Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- ✅ UK secondary school Science teaching experience
- ✅ Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- ✅ A solid Science teaching background
- ✅ A genuine passion for Science education
- ✅ A professional, flexible and reliable approach
