This school is seeking a dedicated Science Laboratory Technician to join their team in a full-time, term-time, permanent capacity. Key requirements
- A scientific background and/or previous laboratory experience in an educational setting.
- A willingness to learn and work collaboratively within a team.
- A strong educational foundation with excellent IT, literacy, and numeracy skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborating with technical and teaching staff to deliver the best educational experience in science.
- Preparing, maintaining, and managing resources for science lessons, including equipment and materials.
- Ensuring equipment and chemical supplies are maintained, stored safely, and kept in good working order.
- Contributing to the upkeep of laboratories and preparation rooms as safe, effective environments.
- Managing clerical and administrative tasks related to laboratory operations.
- Strictly adhering to health and safety guidelines while performing all tasks.
