School Receptionist Job Available in Salford

A Secondary School in Salford is seeking a friendly and efficient Receptionist to join their team. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for visitors, students, and staff, ensuring a welcoming and professional environment.

Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £13.68 - £15/hour DOE
Contract Type: Temporary

Key Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Greet and assist visitors, students, and staff, providing information and directing them as needed.
  • Answer and manage phone calls, emails, and other correspondence in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, admissions, and other relevant data.
  • Provide administrative support to the Office Manager and other staff, including filing, photocopying, and preparing documents.
  • Assist in organising and coordinating school events, meetings, and appointments.
  • Monitor visitor access and maintain security protocols to ensure the safety of students and staff.
  • Ensure compliance with school policies and procedures, as well as relevant regulations and legislation.

Key Skills/Experience:
  • Experience working within a Front of House Administrative role, preferably within a school environment
  • Proficiency in school MIS - SIMS, Bromcom, Arbour or other similar
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent telephone manner
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
