Admin/Receptionist- Primary/Secondary Schools

Your new company

We are seeking a highly motivated and organised Administrative Assistant/Receptionist to join our school community in Wandsworth. As the first point of contact for students, parents, and visitors, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional administrative support to the school community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service to students, parents, and staff, responding to queries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Manage the reception desk, answering phone calls, taking messages, and directing visitors to relevant areas of the school with a warm and welcoming approach.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including student records, attendance records, and staff information with attention to detail and precision.
  • Prepare and distribute documents, reports, and other materials as required by the school, ensuring timely and efficient communication.
  • Support administrative tasks such as photocopying, filing, data entry, and other duties as needed.
  • Contribute to the school's marketing and communication efforts by preparing materials for social media, newsletters, and other publications with creativity and attention to detail.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with students, parents, and staff to ensure a positive and welcoming school environment.

Requirements

  • Enhanced DBS Check
  • Experience working in a secondary or primary school setting
  • Proficiency in using SIMS/BROMCOM systems
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
