About the Role
We are looking for an organised, proactive, and confident School Administrator to join a busy and vibrant school in Southwark. The ideal candidate will have proven experience using a school Management Information System (MIS) and must hold a current Enhanced DBS.
This role is central to ensuring smooth day‑to‑day operations, supporting staff, pupils, and parents, and helping maintain high administrative standards across the school.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and update accurate pupil information within the school’s MIS
  • Manage daily attendance processes, including recording, monitoring, and statutory reporting
  • Provide administrative support to senior leaders and teaching staff
  • Act as a first point of contact for parents, visitors, and external agencies
  • Support with admissions, leavers, and pupil transition processes
  • Prepare reports, letters, and documentation as required
  • Handle confidential information in line with safeguarding and data protection requirements
  • Support the organisation of school events, meetings, and parent evenings
  • Carry out general office duties including reception cover, filing, and email management
Skills & Experience Required
  • Essential: Experience using a school MIS (e.g., SIMS, Arbour, Bromcom, iSAMS, etc.)
  • Essential: Valid Enhanced DBS (on the Update Service preferred)
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a busy school environment
  • Confident IT user (Microsoft Office, email systems, data entry)
  • A professional, helpful, and positive approach
