Hays are delighted to be working on some fantastic contract opportunities for experienced Building Fabric Clerk of Works across Glasgow & the West of Scotland, with contract lengths starting at 6+ months.

Your new role

Hays are recruiting on behalf of a large organisation who have over £30M projects to deliver, all of which require a fabric Clerk of Works. You will be responsible for supervising multiple sites at any given time, most likely on minor works projects across the education & corporate property estate, ranging from £30k - £7m per project. Applications from candidates with significant construction experience, such as Site Management / Foreman, are welcomed, as well as Clerk of Works with MICWCI.

What you'll need to succeed

Projects will vary in size, stages and complexity, so a construction professional with good 'all-round' experience would be beneficial. Projects will range from defects, demolitions, roofing & rendering, kitchen & bathroom installation, EWI refurbishments, as well as new-build major projects across education, commercial and housing sectors. Applicants must have a clean UK driving licence for each of these positions and preferably access to your own car.

What you'll get in return

Rates are negotiable depending on experience, but will be in the region of £22-24ph PAYE.

Please note that these positions are deemed inside IR35, so payment via a LTD company without deductions will not be possible.
