Early Years Practitioner – Flexible Role
Location: South Birmingham & Solihull
Salary: From £92.56 per day Full-time & Part-time Available

Are you looking for a rewarding role supporting young children? Hays Education is currently recruiting enthusiastic and dedicated Early Years Practitioners to work across a range of nurseries and primary school Early Years settings throughout South Birmingham & Solihull.


Your new role

As an Early Years Practitioner, you'll be supporting children in nursery and reception-aged settings, helping to create a safe, nurturing and engaging learning environment. You will work closely with children to support their early development through play-based learning activities, assisting with their educational, social and emotional needs.
This is a flexible supply role, offering both full-time and part-time opportunities to suit your availability.


What you'll need to succeed

  • Experience working as an Early Years Practitioner, Nursery Nurse, or in a similar childcare role
  • Level 3 Early Years, Level 3 Childcare or equivalent
  • A genuine passion for supporting children's early learning and development
  • Good understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A flexible and proactive approach to working in different nursery and school environments
  • Knowledge of safeguarding and child development practices
