About the role
Hays Education are currently recruiting for reliable and hardworking School Cleaners to work within a friendly and welcoming school in Hastings.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive environment and play a key role in maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic space for students and staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Cleaning classrooms, corridors, toilets, and communal areas.
- Emptying bins and replenishing supplies.
- Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and disinfecting surfaces.
- Following health and safety and COSHH regulations.
- Ensuring high standards of cleanliness are consistently maintained.
Essential requirements
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (Mandatory)
- Previous cleaning experience
- Strong attention to detail and reliability.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Commitment to safeguarding and maintaining a safe school environment
