Wirral Primary school looking for full time school administrator to start asap.

Hays Education are working with a primary school based on the Wirral to recruit an administrator to join their team. This job is full time starting asap.
Your new role
Working with the school business manager and one other full time administrator, this school administration job involves supporting with all front of house related duties as well as using Arbor for attendance-related administration if required.
As the first contact visitors have with the school, your job is to present a professional front in person and on the phone, and to promote the school's ethos. You will be responsible for:- operating the gate buzzer, so visitors can get into the school
- signing visitors in accordance to the school's safeguarding policy
- dealing with phone and email queries
- sending and distributing post
- support with reprographic duties
- typing and proofreading letters and newsletters
- using Arbor to input attendance related data
- making calls to parents as required
Hours are 8.30–3.30, Monday–Friday. This job will run until February half term in the first instance.
What you'll need to succeed
For this school administrator job, experience of using Arbor would be an advantage, as would experience of working in a school setting, but they're not essential. You will be professional and efficient with excellent organisation and time management skills. You will be confident making and receiving calls, and supporting staff, governors and parents as required with admin related duties.
Placement in this job will require you to complete an enhanced DBS check.
