School Administrator Roles

Hays Education are looking to recruit Administrators for primary and secondary schools within Greater Manchester to start in the summer term, and the next academic year. There will be a range of opportunities, both full-time and part-time, term time only and year-round, temporary and permanent.


Key Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Acting as a first point of contact for parents, visitors and staff
  • Handling incoming and outgoing phone calls, directing calls to the relevant member of staff
  • Providing general administrative and clerical support within the school office
  • Updating and maintaining physical and digital pupil records
  • Managing the school's general email inbox, responding to queries in a timely manner
  • Managing a busy front reception desk

    Key Skills/Experience:
  • Experience working within a school office environment is desirable.

  • Experience working with school information management systems - SIMS, Bromcom, Arbour or other similar

  • Excellent telephone manner

  • Friendly, approachable and professional demeanour


These roles will be subject to an Enhanced DBS check and a minimum of two recent references on file.
