School Administrator jobs available in Manchester
Hays Education are looking to recruit administrators for primary schools within Manchester to start in September. There will be a range of opportunities, both full-time and part-time, term time only.
Ideally, you would have school administration experience and knowledge of SIMS, however we welcome applications from other administration/receptionist backgrounds.
Main duties of the role include:
- Provide general clerical and administrative support - photocopying, filing, faxing, completing standard forms and returns to the LA and outside agencies and responding to routine correspondence
- Maintain and update SIMS as required, including retrieving and collating information to ensure deliver of a high level administrative service
- Produce lists, information and data as required, for example, pupils data and to maintain and collate pupil reports
- Answering incoming phone calls
- Collect and distribute incoming mail, despatch outgoing mail as appropriate
- Undertake routine administration of school lettings and other uses of school premises
- Maintain display boards and to ensure these are refreshed regularly
- Administer school registration procedures in line with statutory requirements
All applicants will be subject to a full DBS check before any roles can be finalised. As a trusted organisation, Hays will need to make all the necessary checks, which will include obtaining suitable working references which will reflect your experience, reliability and professionalism.
